Our mission is not just to bring you great exercise, but to bring you movements that strengthen, stabilize, and heal. Pilates at Mend is brought to you by a physical therapist and a nurse practitioner who have seen the major health consequences that lack of strength, lack of movement, poor flexibility and more can have on the health and wellbeing of individuals. We want to help you prevent injuries, relieve pain, strengthen/tone muscles, strengthen your core, improve your flexibility, and help you optimize your health and live your best life! Whether you are a top performing athlete or someone that hasn’t exercised in years, reformer Pilates can benefit you! We offer small class sizes so our focus can be on your form to optimize your sessions. Come join us!
Meet Noel, co-owner and Pilates instructor at Pilates at Mend! Noel received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University and has been working as a physical therapist since 2018. She fell in love with Pilates while seeking out forms of injury prevention for patients. This motivated her to become a Pilates instructor! She is passionate about integrating strength training, breath, balance, and improving flexibility all in one session! With Noel’s extensive training on body mechanics & movement, rest assured that wherever you are on your fitness journey, she can help you get stronger safely!
Kaitlyn spent the first part of her career as a special education teacher and is passionate about advocating for inclusion in all spaces! Kaitlyn started staying home with her kiddos after her 2nd child was born. She started to develop a love of working out after having her kids and more recently after some health issues in the last year. Pilates has allowed Kaitlyn to combine the mindset work and the movement together. “I am so excited to get in the studio with you, vibe to some music, and move our bodies together because we love them and want to cherish them.”
